“Ten Weeks to Love” on Amazon, Barnes & Noble!

10weeks2love book coverYippee! After much back-and-forth, editing, re-editing, photo selection, caption addition—and just plain wanting it to be right—my eBook is now available for the Kindle (Amazon) and the Nook (Barnes & Noble)! (Soon as I buy a Mac, it will be available for the iPad as well.)

(Note: For those of you who do not have the above devices, Amazon has a free app to make it possible to view eBooks on your computer or other devices. I haven’t checked yet, but I suspect that B&N has a similar app.)

I love this cover! I can hardly wait to see it in print! My dear friends at Peter Green Design understood the vision I had and got it right!

It’s been a long journey—actually a 26-year journey!  I knew way back when, as I have known all along, that what I did to transform myself from a second failed marriage to a lasting and great marriage worked. Even when we first got together, I knew it was going to last and be everything I had hoped for.

What I didn’t know—and was not prepared for—was just how damned great “great” could be! I did not know how many areas of my life would blossom and take shape; how much having a partner in life would mean to me in good times and bad; how much I would contribute to the important life of my best friend and mate. And I didn’t know how much FUN this relationship would be!

I’ve made jokes about why it took so long for me to write the story of Charley and me. I usually start off by saying that I wanted to make really sure it was going to work before sharing what I did with others.  And that explanation works. After all, 26 years of a great marriage should qualify me to have an opinion on the subject that others might find interesting.

However, that’s not the whole answer as to why it took me so bloody long to put my thoughts on paper (or in cyberspace). More to the point, I wanted to make sure it had value to others and not just be another would-be author in love with her own words (“Aren’t I special!”).

I have now gotten enough direct feedback from people who read my manuscript and/or current eBook version, that I am confident there will be something of value to the reader. My opinions may not solve everyone’s relationship issues, but I believe what I have to say will help people get answers that they have not found elsewhere. OR, give them a different take on familiar subjects that somehow just didn’t click for them before.

I’m now working on an expanded softcover version of my eBook. It will include chapters on subjects that I consider important, as well as some great exercises to put into useful practice what I did that correspond with the preceding chapters.

I am very excited! I hope you will stay tuned to see how all this shakes out and progresses!

Now, go buy that book! (I’m told I have to say that—get you to BUY NOW—or this blog is of little worth. I trust you will do what the heck you want to do about that….though I am hopeful you will invest the big bucks to see if I’m good or if I’m just a bunch of bloated ego!)

Yours in love,

Tanii “The Author” Carr
